Hello HelpDesk-Now,

I have a problem with my Compaq Armarda M700
The Keyboard function is locked on.
so that now the keys "n,m,,,.,j,k,l,;,u,i,o,p
now display 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.

How do I return the keyboard to a normal mode on the M700

On this laptop computer, the keyboard does not have a numeric keypad

+ | << Public: Joe Smith at 01/08/06 18:20 [MessageID:25xxx-xxx398]
You can use the "Function Key" (lower left keyboard) in combination with the Functions "F1" or "F2" etc

To input nombers?

+ | << Public: Joe Smith at 01/08/06 18:20 [MessageID:25xxx-xxx400]
I have accidentally touched something to cause the keys on the right side of the keyboard to display numbers when tapped.

+ | << Public: Kyle at 01/08/06 18:20 [MessageID:25xxx-xxx401]
nombers=numbers

+ | << Public: Joe Smith at 01/08/06 18:20 [MessageID:25xxx-xxx402]
I would like to restore the keyboard to a default mode

+ | << Public: Kyle at 01/08/06 18:22 [MessageID:25xxx-xxx403]
As I understand when you press n or m you get numbers, is that correct?

+ | << Public: Joe Smith at 01/08/06 18:22 [MessageID:25xxx-xxx404]
this is a laptop with no numberic keyboad. It uses a Compaq Function key to create a virtual keyboard on the right side of the typing keyboard
