I lost files. You helped me find files. All of the files are in one large folder and I need a better way to find them faster. The files were orginally stored in individual programs, MS Word, MS Excell, and MS Access. I would very much like to save them in the different programs where they were orginally. Can you help me? Bobbi

Viewer: I'm in control now
Viewer: Could you please show me what files are you unable to open?
Presenter: What I would like to do is sort all of the files that have a picture of a key at the top because all of those files were orginally data input in the program MS Access. I would like to make a different sort of the ones with an X at the top. They orginally were data input in the MS Excell program. I would like to save all of the Key files in the program of MS Access and in turn the ones with the X save them in the MS Excel program. Can we do this?
Viewer: Could you please show me how were they organized before in your Word Excel etc.
Presenter: Orginally there was one file in this window that was named Copied from CD. Those files were on my old computer and I was instructed to save them to a cd and down load them to this computer. When I need to use any of the old files, I had to open that file.
Viewer: Is it OK now?
Presenter: Yes they are in this window. Are they saved in the Excel program?
Viewer: Yes
Presenter: ok, please let me close and try to re-open. ok?
Viewer: Ok
Presenter: Great, can you do that same thing with all the files with the key?
Viewer: Yes, sure
Presenter: key goes to access
Viewer: I will set it to acces and word, ok?
Presenter: I only need those files with a key in MS Access
Viewer: ok
Viewer: Check it now please
Presenter: ok
Presenter: wonderful, please let me check a few things
Viewer: ok
Presenter: If you can do the same thing with the files W for MS Word and save them in Word, I will be so happy.
Viewer: ok
Viewer: Check it please
Presenter: Is there a way to not have to go through My Albums but have it under Bobbi Still's Documents?
Viewer: In that case you would have to copy all files to another directory.
Presenter: It would be the file copied from CD
Viewer: Yes
Viewer: All
Presenter: All files or just the Copied from CD?
Viewer: All
Presenter: What is involved if we copied all to another director?
Viewer: We can do that, but we would have to change again everything in Word Excel Access
Presenter: I don't want to mess things up but I don't believe you would let that happen if at all possible. I would like to be able to open word and all of my files to be visable without having to go into Copied from CD for part of them. Will this take very long to do this?
Viewer: No
Viewer: Please check it now
Presenter: ok
Presenter: Great, all is working. You are so very sharp. Can we try a mail merge or do I need to present another question?
Viewer: Please ask another queston for that.
Presenter: I will, thank you so very much.
Viewer: Your welcome.
